PresentPen is designed to perform its annotation work locally on your Mac. It does not require an account, upload your drawings, or include advertising trackers.
Information PresentPen collects
PresentPen does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information through the app. The app does not require an account and does not operate a PresentPen cloud service.
Information stored on your Mac
PresentPen stores preferences such as selected colors, thickness choices, eraser mode, pressure preference, and toolbar behavior locally on your Mac. These settings remain under your control and are not uploaded to PresentPen.
Annotations are created for live use. They are handled locally and are not automatically uploaded or saved as documents by PresentPen.
Pointer, stylus, and keyboard input
PresentPen responds to pointer movement, stylus input, supported pressure information, and registered keyboard shortcuts so its annotation tools can function. PresentPen does not use this input to create an activity profile or transmit a history of what you type or draw.
Third-party services
PresentPen does not include third-party advertising or analytics services. If you obtain PresentPen through Apple’s Mac App Store, Apple may process purchase, diagnostic, or store information according to your Apple settings and Apple’s own privacy policies.
Support communications
If you contact PresentPen support, the information you choose to include in your message will be used to understand and respond to your request. Do not include confidential classroom or student information in a support message.
Children and students
PresentPen is a general-purpose presentation utility. It does not create student accounts or intentionally collect information from children or students.
